So, what have we been up to? WELL, we've been kind of lazy lately. The beach has beckoned to us (see next blog for that), the mountains have been clouded over and hazy, Tucker and I have renewed our tennis game playing sometimes 4 times a week. No, that isn't a typo ... Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, & Sunday.
Playing tennis is lazy fun ... relaxing on the weekends ... and watching the birds ... so these pictures are especially for Barbara - if you come out, I guarantee you will see most of these birds.
Our side deck is littered with hanging things. No, we don't need to water the gray stuff ... it is supposed to be gray!
This guy is not our typical visitor. It is pretty rare to see an all red cardinal. Oh CRAP! There goes that guarantee!
Here are our typical visitors ... they love the bird seed and 8 to 10 of them get on the feeder at once and then one more will come and you can see the "pecking order" ... gee, where did that expression come from? :-o
And when we forget to feed them, they let us know! They camp out and wait.
They hover without effort!
