Beach Trips ...

Hi All,

We've had some interesting times going to the beach recently. It's just been fun and relaxing. Most of the time we have nice 3 foot waves that are long and easy to body surf. Even Jake has gone into the water!

We went to the North Shore for a day. It was a stunning day with bright sunshine and few clouds. Below is Waimea Bay. The water was in the upper 70's and flat. The four of us swam out almost to the sailboats. A beautiful place. We had clam chowder that was excellent and some calamari at a restaurant named Breakers.

Later, on the south shore at Sandy's, we encountered some very heavy waves. There were signs posted everywhere to watch out for the rip tide and strong currents. We didn't go in here but enjoyed the waves that crashed on the beach.

Below is a cute clip of Jake and Krista ... She is trying to get him to volunteer to go into the water. Fat chance!!

It is late now and Kathy is due in tomorrow. It will be a busy day with the Pats playing Miami but it not being on TV ... we'll have to go down to the local bar at 7am to watch the game. I just wish the seats were more comfortable!
