The Family Havest

Times are tough these days. The economic news seems to get worse each day. As a result, we started a small banana farm ... ok, it was only 3 trees but now it is 5 and we had our first harvest ... how cool is that? It was really just for some fun.

Matt is here for a few months and you can see him below cutting down the banana stock.

Quite a bunch of bananas! That will make a lot of banana bread.

Matt and Tucker show off their machete and the bananas.

Captain Morgan would be proud!

They covered the counter!

I hope that your days are fresh with the cool crisp air of winter. Here in Hawaii, it is rainy season ... more on that in the next post!

Funny...April and I just harvested the Bananas in our yard as well, they aren't quite as impressive as yours...but we have figs as well so we trump you there.

Hope the rainy season is treating you well. The hikes look amazing...being down south I've come to miss elevation.
